Backed by their band, the Foggy Mountain Boys, bluegrass legends Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt fill the soundstage with their distinctive brand of Appalachian music in this rare performance footage from the duo’s 1955-69 TV series. Volume 6 features more of Flatt and Scruggs’s mesmerizing mixtures of fiddle, mandolin, banjo, bass, guitar and harmonica. The Grammy-winning pair was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1985.
